What is a dietary supplement? A dietary supplement is a product that a person takes by mouth, which contains a lot of nutrition’s which we can’t take from a normal diet. There are also minerals, vitamins, botanicals, herbs, amino acids, organ tissues and many other things include.There are a lot of forms of supplements available in the market these are available in the form of soft gels, liquids, oils, capsules, pills, and powders. These supplements are also available in the form of bars and other they are classified as food, not a drug.
There four major classifications of supplements.

These types of supplements consist of natural products. These are active ingredients or extracts from plant roots, stems, seeds, leaves, flowers and buds.
These products can be extracted of two or more active ingredients or maybe the whole plant. The usage is to maintain low cholesterol, good health and helps to prevent disease. The plus points for these types of supplements are natural, and they are safe to use and leave a good impact on health. Some herbs are dangerous like ephedra extract. This formula is used for weight loss and boost energy. By taking this supplement, you may face muscle injury, blood pressure, and nerve damage and stroke or memory loss. This type of supplement ingredient is banned, and you should avoid it.
